Seafood Industry Australia (SIA) and the Blue Economy Cooperative Research Centre have initiated a new collaboration with the Australian Government’s Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCEEW) and Fisheries Research Development Corporation on the ground-breaking Futures of Seafood study.

The Futures of Seafood study shows commitment by the Australian Government to understanding the potential pathways and opportunities that lie ahead for the industry during a time of rapid change and transformative agendas.

Futures of Seafood will enable the industry, Government and policy makers to make better decisions, navigate changes, and ensure that our industry is well-equipped to adapt and flourish in our dynamic environment.
